Default For the love of Dwayna, fix the crash bugs

I have attempted the last mission a good dozen times now. I was in a number of good groups that were likely to succeed... except I crashed out about four times on different occasions. Twice today alone (within 2 hours), when I was in a really good group.

It is starting to be extremely annoying. Others seem to crash often as well, no matter what mission, at least one person usually crashes before we get to the end. It also irritates group members who seem to have the opinion that someone who quits out simply decided to 'leave' them.

It has to be the game, I keep getting a little box to report an error to Anet right after I crash out.

Please, please, please fix this.

I'm not so sure it's a bug, but definitely keep sending in those crash reports. I think that GW is a beast of a system-stresser. If there are any weak links in your setup, it's going to explode in your face while playing this game.
It pushes mine more than everquest2 did. Doom3 and the other FPS games are no contest.
If anything, other than tightening up your own system (which I had to do twice with mine - new power supply and patching up registry 55 in my bios by installing a beta patch produced by VIA), ArenaNet might patch up the game with some good optimizations which might take some of the load off our systems. This might seemingly lessen the amount of crashes due to poorly powered or configured systems.

i'm not so sure it's the individual's system.. I've only crashed out twice before today both times it was my own net connection that did it... today i've tried borlis pass 5 times... 5.. and each time i disconnect.. "error message 7" could not process try again later.....
and i agree with the annoying part.. i need to do this to move on and have been trying all day rebooting my system and testing all my drivers and net connection.. heck i even re-scanned for viruses.. none found....

I'd say in terms of the problems posted on this board, most problems are related to the user's system (not all but the majority). However, my theory is that the end stages of the game are most likely to have undiscovered bugs, since they have been presently stress-tested the least.

It definitely has happened much more frequently since I reached the end game. Before ascension, I crashed maybe once in 3 days, and never at all in pre-searing and the most part of chapter 1.

It cannot be just me or my system, so many people crash... often.

If you're getting the error box to submit to Anet, this isn't a crash, just an exception. This means something is corrupting GW's memory, be it a malicious program or crappy RAM.

Really? Hrmm.. My game crashes out every 30 mins or so. I'll be at the end of a mission and I'll get the submit to Anet box. Wonder if I should uninstall my antivirus program just to see if that helps. I've gone through Omega drivers, older Nvidia drivers, new sound drivers, and the current detonators.. still crashing consistantly. Sometimes it'll just randomly reboot my PC.. and other times I'll get the Anet box popping up. 6600GT is the card.
